Development Engineer II – Aircraft Bombs & Warheads

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Development Engineer II to lead the design, integration, testing, and qualification of advanced aircraft bomb and warhead systems for LAHAB in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, preliminary and detailed design activities for bomb and warhead structures.
• Perform engineering analyses including structural, fragmentation and performance assessments.
• Integrate bomb/warhead assemblies with fuzing, guidance systems and aerial platforms.
• Support prototype manufacturing, test preparation and execution of ground, flight and arena tests.
• Ensure compliance with MIL‑STD, STANAG and safety regulations.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration control and supplier collaboration.
• Execute MRP/ERP related tasks and contribute to proposals and technical evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in aircraft bomb or warhead design and manufacturing.
• Strong planning, communication and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
• Office‑based work with regular visits to integration and test facilities, including possible travel abroad.
