DevOps Engineer – Banking (Dubai)

About the role
We are seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to join our banking technology team in Dubai. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native platforms using OpenShift and related tools. The candidate will work on high‑availability, secure infrastructure supporting critical banking applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift using Jenkins, GitHub and related tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Terraform and scripting (Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Manage container orchestration, Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Implement and support virtualization and storage solutions (KVM, OpenStack, CEPH, GlusterFS).
- Oversee artifact and repository management (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus) and logging (ELK, Auditbeat, Filebeat).
- Ensure compliance with security standards (CIS Benchmark, SSL, AD policies) and perform on‑call support as needed.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, contribute to architecture decisions and improve system availability.
Required profile
- 9–12 years of professional experience in DevOps or SRE roles, preferably in large banking organizations.
- Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes.
- At least 3 years of experience working in the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows internals.
- Ability to start immediately.
