DevOps Specialist (UAE National or Expat)

About the role

The DevOps Specialist will design, build and maintain automation pipelines that support cloud‑native applications. Working closely with development and operations teams, you will ensure reliable deployments, scalable infrastructure and continuous improvement of CI/CD processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support deployment, operation and automation of cloud‑native applications.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues and assist with cloud platform operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews and produce technical documentation.
• Develop unit tests and resolve software defects promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• UAE national/Emirati or expatriate eligible to work in the UAE.
• Advanced certifications in software engineering are a plus.

Required skills

• Linux operating system.
• Version control with Git.
• Containerisation using Docker.
• Orchestration with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Scripting in Bash or Python.
• Java development basics.
