About the role
SMEGOC is seeking a DEWA‑approved Electrical Engineer to act as MEP Coordinator for its Dubai construction projects. The role focuses on overseeing electrical and MEP activities, ensuring all work complies with DEWA regulations, and supporting project teams throughout execution.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical and MEP works across multiple sites.
- Verify that all designs and installations meet DEWA standards and local Dubai regulations.
- Review technical drawings, specifications and shop‑drawings for accuracy.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor progress, conduct site inspections and ensure proper documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Valid DEWA approval is mandatory.
- Proven experience in MEP coordination and project execution.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and Dubai building codes.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
