Digital Trading Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Trading Lead to own online commercial performance for a fast‑growing design‑led retail brand. The role sits at the heart of the digital function, shaping growth strategy and optimising the customer journey across web and app platforms in the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute digital trading strategy aligned with regional growth objectives, managing promotional planning and trading calendars for DTC and marketplace channels.
• Analyse KPIs such as traffic, conversion, AOV and sell‑through to drive revenue, margin and customer experience improvements.
• Lead site and app merchandising, ensuring best‑in‑class navigation, product storytelling and seasonal execution.
• Implement testing, behavioural insights and conversion optimisation initiatives to enhance UX and basket value.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to prioritise enhancements based on commercial ROI and resolve friction points.
• Own weekly and monthly trade reporting, forecasting cycles and performance planning for senior leadership.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a results‑driven trading culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in digital trading or eCommerce leadership within fashion, lifestyle or consumer retail.
• Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of revenue generation.
• Experience working in the GCC or multi‑region environments.
• Highly analytical with confidence in data interpretation and performance optimisation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
