Direct Entry Captain (A350/A380)

About the role

Emirates is seeking experienced pilots to join its fleet as Direct Entry Captains on Airbus A350 or A380 aircraft. The role is based in Dubai and offers a tax‑free remuneration package.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Airbus A350 or A380 as Captain, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and coordinate the flight crew during all phases of flight.
• Maintain aircraft performance standards and adhere to Emirates operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 7,000 total flight hours in multi‑crew, multi‑engine aircraft (turboprop/turbojet seats only).
• At least 150 flight hours in the past 12 months on Airbus Fly‑By‑Wire as Captain.
• Valid ICAO ATPL and Class 1 medical certificate.
• ICAO English level 5 or higher.
• For A380: Minimum 3,000 PIC hours on Airbus FBW wide‑body aircraft and currently flying as Captain on such type.
• For A350: Minimum 3,000 PIC hours on any Airbus FBW type and currently flying as Captain on Airbus FBW.

Required skills

• Airbus Fly‑By‑Wire operation (A350, A380, A320 family).
• Multi‑crew, multi‑engine aircraft experience.
• Type rating for the specific aircraft flown.
