Director, Group Financial Controller

About the role

Khazna is seeking a Director, Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function across all entities and jurisdictions. Reporting to the VP – Finance Operations, you will be responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the Group's financial records while supporting rapid growth and international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee accounting activities for all entities and jurisdictions.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
• Maintain and govern Group Accounting Policies and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Establish and maintain robust Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
• Drive audit readiness and support external and internal audits.
• Lead ERP optimisation, automation and digital finance initiatives.
• Set up accounting frameworks for new international entities and markets.
• Support market entry, M&A, joint ventures and restructuring from an accounting perspective.
• Develop and lead the Group Accounting team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• MBA or postgraduate finance qualification is desirable.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience.
• Minimum 7 years in a senior controllership or finance leadership role.
• Experience in large multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction organisations.
• Proven track record in finance transformation and process improvement.
• Strong expertise in IFRS and statutory reporting.
• Experience supporting international expansion, M&A and complex business growth; GCC/MENA experience preferred.
