Director – Institutional Client Business (UAE)

About the role

BlackRock is seeking a senior institutional and family‑office relationship manager based in Dubai to lead its Institutional Client Business across the United Arab Emirates. The role will serve as the primary point of contact for sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and other institutional investors, delivering the full spectrum of BlackRock’s investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing institutional clients and originate new business across the UAE.
• Lead strategic dialogue, understand client needs and communicate industry trends, geopolitical developments and BlackRock’s product capabilities.
• Host client meetings with senior BlackRock leaders and visit senior representatives of prospects and clients.
• Contribute to account planning, commercial growth, budgeting and own senior client relationships.
• Present and promote BlackRock’s offerings, including index equities, active equities, fixed income, private capital, real estate, infrastructure and alternative assets.
• Lead by example, embed BlackRock Principles and DEI approach, mentor junior talent and empower team members to achieve their goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior relationship manager serving institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds and pension funds.
• Strong understanding of a broad range of investment products and solutions.
• Excellent client‑facing and communication skills, with the ability to drive strategic conversations.
• Based in Dubai and able to travel within the UAE as required.
