Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary leader to own and scale its proven academic model that delivers twice the learning velocity in just two hours per day. This remote senior position will shape academic strategy, ensure rigorous execution across diverse school environments, and serve as the public face of a data‑driven, science‑based learning movement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that translate learning‑science research into actionable curriculum, motivation systems, and product design.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and results‑focused.
• Analyze data, interview stakeholders, and observe classroom practice to identify high‑impact barriers and recommend concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic alignment through planning cycles, feedback loops, and milestone monitoring.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile events, keynote addresses, and engagements with Ministries of Education worldwide.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership roles, managing formal teams.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable learning outcomes at scale.
• Strong ability to convert scientific principles into operational rigor.
