Director of Finance

About the role

The Finance Director will shape spiderSilk’s financial strategy and drive operational excellence. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leader will partner with the executive team to support sustainable growth, improve unit economics, and ensure robust financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the company’s financial strategy aligned with growth targets and product roadmap.
• Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial modeling.
• Establish KPI frameworks for SaaS/security metrics such as ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV and churn.
• Oversee accounting, month‑end close, financial statements and management reporting.
• Implement internal controls, approval workflows and ensure compliance with UAE, KSA and North‑America regulations.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, payroll and working capital.
• Partner with sales leadership on pricing, discounting, deal structuring and revenue recognition.
• Prepare investor‑grade reports, board packs and performance narratives.
• Select and implement finance systems (ERP, FP&A, billing, expense) that scale with the business.

Required profile

• Strategic, hands‑on finance leader with experience in high‑growth SaaS or security companies.
• Proven ability to advise CEOs and boards on performance, runway and scenario planning.
• Deep knowledge of UAE/KSA tax, regulatory and audit requirements.
• Strong track record in building KPI frameworks and financial models.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills across finance, sales and operations.
