Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The First Group Hospitality is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to lead all food and beverage operations across its property in Abu Dhabi. The role combines strategic planning, financial oversight, and team leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement F&B strategies to increase revenue, improve guest satisfaction and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare, manage and control the department’s budget, ensuring profitability.
• Analyse financial reports, including revenue, cost and P&L statements, and take corrective actions.
• Identify new revenue streams, menu enhancements and promotional opportunities.
• Oversee daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquets and other F&B outlets, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards.
• Implement service standards and procedures to strengthen brand reputation.
• Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate the F&B team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop promotional activities and events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior F&B management within upscale hotels or resorts.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and P&L management.
• Excellent leadership and people‑development skills.
• Deep understanding of hospitality operations, guest service standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with other hotel departments to achieve overall business objectives.
