About the role

The Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Director of Marketing & Communications to lead its marketing function. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Strategy, you will shape and execute integrated campaigns that align with the hotel’s commercial objectives and luxury brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to elevate the brand and drive revenue.
• Lead, mentor, and align a team of marketing and communications professionals with strategic goals.
• Manage the annual marketing budget, allocate resources efficiently, and measure ROI of initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to enhance brand visibility.
• Utilise market research and guest data to refine strategies and improve guest engagement.
• Oversee media relations, digital marketing, CRM, social media, advertising, brand identity, and governance.
• Handle crisis communications and protect the brand’s reputation.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in marketing and communications, preferably within luxury hospitality.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of delivering integrated campaigns.
• Excellent budget management and analytical skills.
• Ability to cultivate high‑level media and partnership relationships.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience leveraging market insights.
• Effective crisis management and reputation safeguarding capabilities.
