Events & Entertainment Manager – Premium Cinema Venue

About the role

Cinemacity is looking for an experienced Events & Entertainment Manager to shape and deliver a dynamic, year‑round events programme across its nine‑screen cinema, private members club and multiple F&B spaces. The role blends creative programming with operational oversight to ensure each event aligns with the brand, complies with local regulations, and drives commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, source and secure high‑quality performers, artists and entertainment acts.
• Negotiate and manage long‑term contracts and partnerships with talent.
• Develop and maintain a diverse events calendar, including live performances, gala nights, theatrical productions and private functions.
• Oversee end‑to‑end event execution, coordinating with marketing, operations, F&B and technical teams.
• Manage permits and approvals with the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) in Abu Dhabi and ensure compliance with all licensing requirements.
• Create and control event budgets, monitor ticket sales and attendance, and identify revenue opportunities through sponsorships and premium experiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in events management, entertainment programming or talent booking.
• Strong network within the regional entertainment and cultural sectors.
• Proven ability to negotiate artist contracts and manage long‑term partnerships.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s regulatory landscape, especially DCT processes.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is highly preferred.
• Excellent organisational, negotiation and leadership capabilities.
