Director of Operations – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead the day‑to‑day performance of a 5‑star luxury hotel. The role demands a strong Food & Beverage and Culinary background, combined with solid knowledge of Rooms Division and other core hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all guest‑facing departments, ensuring seamless coordination.
• Provide strategic leadership for F&B, Culinary, Rooms, and ancillary services.
• Drive operational excellence in restaurants, bars, banqueting, room service and culinary outlets.
• Monitor performance metrics, revenue, profitability, quality and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting and business planning with senior management.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health & safety, HACCP and other regulations.
• Lead, coach and develop department heads, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support VIP arrivals, special events and high‑profile hotel activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Proven track record in leading complex Food & Beverage and Culinary operations.
• Strong understanding of Rooms Division, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and Spa functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts and performance improvement initiatives.
