Director of Quality – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Director of Quality will lead the implementation of Total Quality Management across the St. Regis Downtown Dubai property. Reporting to senior management, you will coach managers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure that all quality processes align with the brand’s standards and guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coach managers on adopting Total Quality Management leadership styles and decision‑making.
• Develop and execute property‑wide quality assurance strategies to meet critical customer requirements.
• Facilitate process‑improvement teams, ensuring systematic, measurable outcomes.
• Train staff and managers on problem‑solving, process improvement, and strategic planning techniques.
• Implement quality tools, collect and analyse defect data, and produce daily quality production reports.
• Communicate departmental goals clearly to achieve desired results and enhance employee satisfaction.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Proven background in guest services, front‑desk, housekeeping, sales & marketing, or operations management within the hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to lead teams through continuous‑improvement initiatives.
