Director, QARA MEA – Distribution & Operations

About the role

Director, QARA MEA – Distribution & Operations provides senior leadership for quality assurance and regulatory affairs across the Middle East and Africa region, ensuring compliance and market access for DePuy Synthes products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the QARA strategy for MEA markets in line with global objectives.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with country‑specific regulatory requirements, international standards and internal policies.
• Provide strategic guidance for product registrations, renewals, variations and full lifecycle management.
• Act as the senior escalation point for local market support on quality and regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal and Global QARA leaders to manage risk and support business continuity.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs within the medical device or healthcare sector.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks and quality standards applicable to MEA markets.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive compliance initiatives.
