Disputes Associate – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a Disputes Associate to join ALN UAE’s Disputes team in Dubai. The role provides exposure to high‑value, cross‑border disputes across the UAE’s hybrid civil and common law system, advising clients under English, DIFC, ADGM and UAE law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cases and client relationships across a portfolio worth over USD 1 billion.
• Conduct advanced legal research in common law, UAE civil law, private and public international law.
• Draft legal advice, pleadings, submissions, applications and witness statements.
• Prepare for hearings and, where appropriate, present oral advocacy.
• Provide cross‑border advisory services and support enforcement, asset recovery and regulatory matters.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, thought‑leadership and profile building.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with strong legal fundamentals and sound judgment.
• Genuine interest in complex commercial and financial disputes.
• Ability to work to high international standards across the full dispute life‑cycle.
