Dive Operations Associate

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Dive Operations Associate to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and optimal presentation of its aquarium and animal habitats across Abu Dhabi’s world‑class attractions. The role combines hands‑on maintenance with rigorous safety procedures to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, integrity and appearance of underwater exhibits, including decorative and holding pools.
• Follow all dive‑operation safety measures and conduct daily safety checks.
• Keep rescue and basic life‑support competencies at test‑ready levels.
• Complete accurate daily dive logs and equipment records.
• Prepare diving equipment before park opening and store it safely after closing.
• Report inventory status for diving supplies to leadership.
• Adhere to OSHMS dive regulations and complete required trainings.
• Handle, store and dispose of toxic substances and hazardous waste according to company policy.
• Participate in dive emergency exercises and support other zoological teams with underwater equipment.
• Lift and move loads ranging from 12 kg to 45 kg, with or without assistance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in confined spaces.
• Physical capacity to lift/move up to 45 kg.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including opening, mid, closing, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to maintaining professional appearance and hygiene standards.

Required skills

• Rescue operation competency.
• Basic life‑support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) dive regulations.
