Document Controller

About the role

Builtway Construction is looking for an experienced Document Controller to join its project team in Dubai. The role involves managing all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance and smooth coordination among stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage project document control procedures and filing systems.
• Handle drawings, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, method statements and other project documentation.
• Maintain document registers and track all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Ensure accurate version control and timely distribution of project documents.
• Coordinate documentation with consultants, subcontractors and project/site teams.
• Support project compliance by keeping records organized and up‑to‑date.
• Prepare reports and assist with document retrieval as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of UAE construction experience as a Document Controller.
• Previous experience with a UAE main contractor or construction company (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of document control procedures and correspondence management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced construction environment.
