Document Controller – Rail Projects (PMC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our PMC team for rail projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation in line with internal procedures, client requirements, and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation, including drawings, reports, submittals, and technical records.
• Maintain document control registers, ensuring proper numbering, revision control, and version tracking.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to guarantee timely submission and distribution of documents.
• Upload, retrieve, and manage documents using EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, or ProjectWise.
• Ensure documents are accurately filed and readily accessible for audits and reporting.
• Track document status, pending actions, approvals, and overdue submissions.
• Support the preparation of weekly and monthly documentation reports.
• Ensure compliance with document control procedures and project quality requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of document control experience, preferably in rail, infrastructure, construction, or PMC projects.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, and ProjectWise.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
