Drainage Engineer (Design)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Drainage Engineer to join its Dubai team. You will work on a variety of infrastructure projects, focusing on storm‑water and sustainable drainage design while developing your technical and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Independently design storm‑water drainage systems for diverse projects.
• Manage non‑conventional and smart drainage solutions, including Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS).
• Develop hydraulic and system designs that meet site‑specific requirements.
• Perform hydrologic modeling, calculations, drawings, and report writing.
• Coordinate with CAD/BIM/3‑D modeling teams.
• Provide supervision and support to junior engineers.
• Contribute to all project stages under senior engineer guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a reputable university.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in water‑related infrastructure, storm‑water drainage design, catchment analysis, and planning.
• Strong understanding of urban drainage, SuDS, and water‑sensitive design principles.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver high‑quality technical solutions.
