Duty Manager

About the role

The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing front‑desk operations and ensuring a seamless guest experience at Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa. You will manage check‑ins, cash handling, and coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Enter and manage Marriott Rewards information and ensure rate accuracy.
• Compile daily cashier and closing reports, balance receipts, and secure bank deposits.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs and follow accounting procedures.
• Respond to guest requests, coordinate with appropriate staff, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Report safety incidents, assist loss‑prevention, and maintain security protocols.
• Support training, coaching and performance evaluation of front‑desk team members.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in hotel front‑desk or guest services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work standing for long periods and lift items up to 10 lb.
