Early Years Foundation Stage (FS) Teacher – Abu Dhabi

About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) Al Danah is looking for an inspirational Early Years Foundation Stage (FS) Teacher to join its vibrant academic team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering the British EYFS curriculum to kindergarten learners, fostering a nurturing environment where children develop essential skills and a love for learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the British EYFS framework.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom that promotes curiosity and foundational skill development.
• Utilise a range of teaching methodologies and integrate ICT and educational technology to enhance learning.
• Implement formative and summative assessment strategies and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, B.Ed.) with a focus on Early Years or Primary Education.
• Valid teaching licence or registration from the country of origin.
• Minimum 2‑3 years full‑time post‑qualification teaching experience in EYFS, preferably in an international school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to work with a diverse early years cohort.
