Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher – Al Danah, Abu Dhabi

About the role

International Community Schools (ICSchools) at Al Danah campus in Abu Dhabi is seeking an inspirational Early Years Foundation Stage (FS) Teacher to join its KG team for the upcoming academic year. The role involves delivering the British EYFS curriculum to young learners in a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging EYFS lessons in line with the British curriculum.
• Create a supportive classroom that promotes curiosity, foundational skills and a love of learning.
• Utilise ICT and educational technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Implement formative and summative assessment strategies appropriate for early years.
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues and school leadership to support each child’s development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, B.Ed.) specialising in Early Years or Primary Education.
• Valid teaching licence or registration from the country of origin.
• Minimum of 2‑3 years full‑time post‑qualification teaching experience in EYFS, preferably in a British‑based international school.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse early years classroom effectively.

• Proficiency with a range of early‑years teaching methodologies.
• Competence in integrating ICT and educational technology into lessons.
• Strong organisational, planning and time‑management abilities.
