Electrical Design Engineer (PODS Factory)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our PODs Factory team at Azizi Developments. The role focuses on designing and coordinating electrical systems for prefabricated and modular PODs, ensuring they are practical for factory production and site installation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for prefabricated and modular PODs.
• Prepare electrical layouts, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes, DEWA requirements, and project specifications.
• Develop designs suitable for factory production, assembly, transportation, and site installation.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues.
• Collaborate with BIM, production, site, and project teams.
• Support testing, inspection, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions into project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience in PODs, modular construction, prefabrication, or MEP projects preferred.
• Good understanding of UAE electrical codes, standards, and authority requirements.
