Electrical Engineer – E‑House Solutions (Dubai)

About the role

INTECH Automation & Intelligence is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join its Dubai team and support E‑House solutions for oil & gas, petrochemical and utility projects. The role involves delivering electrical projects from concept through design, engineering, testing and hand‑over while ensuring technical excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical projects from concept, design and engineering to final delivery and hand‑over.
• Act as the primary technical focal point for all electrical activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review customer specifications, datasheets and technical requirements and provide support during engineering, execution, manufacturing, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate and review technical design and system integration for LV/MV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DC systems, VFDs, MCCs, bus duct, lighting, small power, HVAC electrical interfaces, fire & gas alarm systems, earthing and cable routing.
• Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, manufacturing teams, QA/QC and project stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely completion.
• Lead FAT and SAT activities, witness tests and resolve punch points, test observations and non‑conformities.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC and NFPA standards and manage technical risks, design conflicts and interface issues.
• Support commissioning, site troubleshooting and final hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering for E‑House or power distribution projects, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical or utilities sectors.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA).
