Electrical Estimation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimation Engineer to lead tender processes for electromechanical projects in Abu Dhabi. The role reports to the Estimation Manager and collaborates with technical, procurement and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire tender lifecycle from receiving RFQs to successful bid submission.
• Study RFQ documents, highlight scope of work, identify design issues and prepare required RFIs.
• Act as the technical expert on assigned tenders, providing support and direction.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project status, progress and challenges.
• Provide technical support and coordinate work across trade estimators, procurement and site teams.
• Build and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from design drawings and confirm quantities.
• Track and update supplier/subcontractor profiles and maintain the pricing database in line with market conditions.
• Conduct regular progress meetings to identify and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5‑10 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in an MEP company.
• Strong electrical technical background and understanding of construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
