Electrical Inspector – Site

About the role

Egis is looking for a meticulous Electrical Inspector to join its Dubai team. In this onsite position you will safeguard the quality and safety of electrical installations across construction projects, ensuring full compliance with UAE and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and components on construction sites.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
• Perform tests using specialized equipment to verify safety and functionality.
• Identify, document, and report electrical deficiencies, code violations, and safety hazards.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Stay current with changes in electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Provide guidance to improve electrical safety and efficiency on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical inspection or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical regulations and international electrical codes.
• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
