Electrical Inspector – Site Supervision

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Inspector with site supervision experience to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations on construction sites comply with local Abu Dhabi regulations and international safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical installations, systems, and equipment on construction sites.
• Supervise electrical contractors and on‑site workers, enforcing safety protocols and quality standards.
• Analyze electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to identify potential issues.
• Perform electrical testing using specialized equipment and document results.
• Identify code violations, safety hazards, and deficiencies, and communicate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve electrical issues and keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain organized records of inspections, test results, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Provide professional recommendations for system improvements and safety enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical inspection and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi electrical regulations (ADWEA) and international standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
