Electrical & Instrumentation Draftsman

About the role

Archirodon Group N.V, a leading international EPC contractor, is seeking an experienced Draftsman (Electrical & Instrumentation) to join its technical office team on a major project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves producing accurate electrical and instrumentation drawings that support the delivery of complex construction works.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve engineering drafting standards and procedures.
• Create and modify electrical and instrumentation drawings using AutoCAD 2022 (2D & 3D) or hand drafting as required.
• Ensure drafting activities are completed on schedule and resolve any deviations promptly.
• Review subcontractor drawings for compliance with project and department standards.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date drawing database accessible to engineering staff.
• Produce design and shop‑drawing packages for cable trays, combined layouts, and utility services.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Diploma in AutoCAD.
• 5–10 years of experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Draftsman.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2022 (2D & 3D) and MS Office.
• Experience in combined layout, cable‑tray layout and section drawings for utilities and buildings.
• Fluent English communication skills.
