Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead the electrical maintenance function in a state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing CNC machines, special purpose machines and related production equipment to maximise reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily electrical maintenance activities for CNC machines, SPMs and related production equipment.
• Lead preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance in line with schedules and OEM recommendations.
• Assign and supervise technicians, ensuring timely response to equipment failures.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring electrical breakdowns.
• Oversee maintenance of CNC control systems, PLCs, electrical panels, HMIs and machine interfaces.
• Supervise servo drives, spindle drives, motors, encoders, sensors and feedback systems.
• Monitor and maintain power distribution components such as MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays and transformers.
• Ensure proper functioning of safety systems including emergency stops, safety relays and interlocks.
• Coordinate machine installation, relocation, commissioning and re‑installation from an electrical and controls perspective.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, breakdown reports and spare‑parts consumption using SAP or a CMMS.
• Liaise with OEM service providers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, LOTO procedures and company quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Automation or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience supervising electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC control systems and industrial automation.
• Ability to lead a technical team and manage relationships with OEMs and contractors.
