Electrical Specialist – Maintenance & Troubleshooting

About the role

The Electrical Specialist will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment across Tabreed’s facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and first‑time‑right execution while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on high, medium and low voltage equipment.
• Respond to faults reported through the work‑order system, inspect sites, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Test, maintain and troubleshoot switchgears, circuit breakers, transformers, VFDs, UPS, battery chargers and LV control panels.
• Provide technical feedback and status updates to supervisors and line managers.
• Be available on‑call for 24 × 7 emergency support and shutdown activities.
• Maintain custody of tools, spare parts and equipment, reporting any shortages.

Required profile

• At least 72 months (6 years) of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar work‑order management systems.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi and respond to emergency calls.
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance procedures.
