Electrical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain and operate the electrical systems of Royal Khalifa City Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring reliable power supply, performing routine inspections, and supporting the hospital’s safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor generators and UPS units, report deficiencies, and maintain daily logs.
• Perform daily transformer meter readings, inspect electrical rooms and distribution panels, and replace fuses or cables as needed.
• Carry out electrical wiring, modifications, and renovations in patient rooms and other areas, providing additional power sockets where required.
• Coordinate with electrical inspections, adhere to OSH and infection‑control policies, and participate in emergency and evacuation drills.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a healthcare environment.
