Electrician – Full-Time Position

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join the engineering and facilities team at a luxury hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning tools, electrical systems, circuit breakers, transformers and other components.
• Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes to verify system performance.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring and fixtures in accordance with the National Electric Code and local regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide installations and repairs.
• Respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report hazards and store flammable materials properly.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification in electrical work.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb and perform fine‑motor tasks.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring installation and troubleshooting.
• Use of hand tools, power tools and testing equipment (ohmmeter, voltmeter, oscilloscope).
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code and local electrical codes.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics.
• Preventive maintenance and inventory management.
