Elementary Arabic Teacher

About the role

Aldar Academies is seeking an enthusiastic Elementary Arabic Teacher to join Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi, commencing in August 2026. The school follows the National Curriculum of England and serves over 700 students from Nursery to Year 6.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Arabic curriculum in line with the Ministry of Education (MOE) syllabus and school schemes of work.
• Organise classroom resources, create engaging displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the full ability range, including differentiation for SEN, EAL and gifted & talented learners.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, record data using Target Tracker and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists as needed.
• Facilitate hybrid, distance‑learning and face‑to‑face sessions while embedding the school’s language‑for‑learning attitudes.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to the school’s core values and an appreciation of regional cultural values.
• Ability to plan short‑, medium‑ and long‑term lesson sequences that meet individual learning needs.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with parents, carers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience teaching Arabic at the primary level (explicitly required by the role).

Required skills

• Familiarity with the MOE Arabic syllabus and related teaching materials.
• Proficiency in using Target Tracker for assessment recording.
• Capability to deliver hybrid and distance‑learning lessons effectively.
