ELV Engineer

About the role

The ELV Engineer will coordinate and supervise the installation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems on Innovo MEP projects. The role ensures that all ELV works are carried out safely, accurately, and in full compliance with project specifications and local authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Technical coordination of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, public address, fire alarm, structured cabling and IPTV.
• Review ELV shop drawings and collaborate with the BIM team to keep models up‑to‑date.
• Prepare material submittals, method statements and other technical documents; track approval status and follow up with consultants.
• Supervise on‑site ELV installation, inspect first‑fix and second‑fix works, and close out quality observations.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities, prepare T&C protocols and punch‑list documentation.
• Ensure compliance with TRA, Civil Defence and client requirements; compile and submit authority approval packages.
• Introduce modern tools and processes to improve efficiency, transparency and cost‑effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of ELV engineering experience in MEP construction.
• Knowledge of UAE ELV regulatory requirements.
• Strong coordination, documentation and communication abilities.
