ELV Systems Technician – Airport (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for an ELV Systems Technician to perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on electronic equipment and systems at an airport, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. The role involves working independently or as part of a technical team while following all safety and procedural requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conform to all general and specific technical safety requirements to protect health, safety and welfare.
• Maintain compliance with Serco Management System, business processes and data security policies.
• Raise and complete PMS fault reports, daily utilization reports and CMMS work orders.
• Adopt a logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting and fault finding on electronic/ELV systems.

Required profile

• Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Electronic System maintenance or equivalent.
• Minimum six years’ experience in electronics/ELV maintenance; airport experience is an advantage.
• IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.
• Very good spoken and written English; ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers.
• Current valid UAE driving licence is desirable.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Understanding of local and international electronic standards and regulations.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment and interpretation of results.
• Experience with CMMS work orders and preventive maintenance reporting.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
