ELV Technician – Security Systems Installation

About the role

The ELV Technician will join Convergint’s security projects in Abu Dhabi, delivering installation, repair and maintenance of CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems for commercial and high‑end residential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install security components such as cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks and printed circuit boards following the Project Engineer’s instructions.
• Lay and terminate structured cabling for CCTV, access control and intrusion detection networks.
• Perform on‑site service, troubleshooting and replacement of equipment across multiple customer locations.
• Use hand and power tools to fabricate parts, drill, and secure installations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets and work instructions to ensure correct execution.

Required profile

• Motivated self‑starter able to work independently and within a team.
• Well‑organized with the ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum high school education; IT diploma is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in security services within the UAE.
• UAE driving licence is advantageous.
