Emiratized Teller – Customer Service & Cash Management

About the role

The Emiratized Teller provides front‑line cash management and customer service in a busy branch environment, ensuring accurate transactions and a high‑quality banking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash withdrawals, deposits and foreign‑exchange transactions.
• Process cheques, inter‑account transfers and perform vault/main‑safe cash reconciliation.
• Assist customers with demand drafts, telegraphic transfers, standing instructions and other banking products.
• Answer branch telephone calls professionally and resolve customer queries.
• Post debit/credit vouchers, maintain documentation and ensure accurate cash postings.
• Promote online and mobile banking, achieving monthly onboarding targets.
• Generate leads for retail products and meet NPS targets by delivering high‑quality service.
• Ensure error‑free transactions, compliance and audit standards.
• Maintain zero leakage of income while processing transactions.
• Handle inbound/outbound cheque clearing and returned cheques.
• Interact with internal stakeholders and complete mandatory trainings.
• Meet referral targets by providing comprehensive product knowledge.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of relevant banking experience.
• Familiarity with bank products, policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced branch environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
