Employee Relations Manager

About the role

The Employee Relations (ER) Manager leads and manages all employee relations matters for DHL UAE, covering roughly 1,250 employees. The role ensures compliance with UAE Labour Law, internal policies, and global frameworks such as the Code of Conduct, Human Rights, and DEIB commitments, while acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret UAE Labour Law developments, assess business impact, and update policies to ensure full compliance.
• Lead end‑to‑end management of ER cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
• Conduct or oversee workplace investigations in line with internal and legal requirements, maintaining procedural fairness.
• Design, review, and implement ER policies and procedures aligned with UAE law and global standards.
• Advise leadership on ER matters, build managerial capability, and support Emiratization initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading employee relations functions in a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and ability to translate legal changes into practical policies.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
• Experience handling complex investigations and case management.
