Engineer SOC Mobile Core & Roaming Support

About the role

The SOC Mobile Core & Roaming Engineer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of the mobile core network and roaming services. You will work in a 24x7 environment to ensure high‑quality network performance and rapid resolution of incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CS/vIMS/EPC/vEPC and SPS/VAS KPIs and report any degradation.
• Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and alarm management on core nodes.
• Escalate incidents to L2 support, follow up, and coordinate resolution.
• Generate and update operational reports for network operations and maintenance.
• Open and classify new alarms with appropriate severity and troubleshoot raised alarms.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Eng in Electronics/Telecom Engineering; M.Eng or M.S. preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a SOC or roaming support environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24 × 7 × 365 setting and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong teamwork and cross‑functional relationship skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of CS/vIMS/EPC/vEPC KPIs.
• Understanding of SPS/VAS KPIs.
• Programming and automation knowledge.
