Engineering Manager – Infrastructure & Services

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Infrastructure and Services team in Abu Dhabi. You will stay hands‑on with technical delivery while guiding a high‑performing group of engineers to build scalable, high‑throughput digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of software engineers, supporting their career growth.
• Drive the design, development, and delivery of large‑scale software solutions.
• Provide technical direction for systems processing billions of requests per day.
• Participate actively in coding, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain high standards for software development, testing, and deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on GCP or AWS using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform.

Required profile

• Eight or more years of professional software development experience.
• At least two years in a management or technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience scaling cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and in‑memory data stores (Redis).
• Experience using AI‑assisted coding tools within engineering workflows.
• Proficiency with Go or a background in AdTech is desirable.
