Engineering Manager – Infrastructure & Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced hands‑on Engineering Manager to lead our Infrastructure and Services team at Audiomob, the industry leader in mobile in‑app audio advertising. The role blends technical leadership with people management to design, develop and operate high‑scale, high‑throughput systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a high‑performance environment.
• Drive design, development and delivery of high‑scale software solutions aligned with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership for high‑throughput systems processing billions of requests per day.
• Participate in coding, code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Mentor engineers and support their career development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Ensure best practices for development, testing and deployment are followed.
• Identify and resolve technical and organisational challenges to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• Demonstrable expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing, operating and scaling complex infrastructure on GCP or AWS using IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Strong expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and in‑memory data stores (Redis).
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted coding tools and interest in applying AI to engineering workflows.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to stay effective under pressure.
