Engineering Manager (Part-time, Hybrid)

About the role

This part‑time Engineering Manager position at Conserverie Zn is based in Dubai with a hybrid work model, allowing some remote days. You will lead the engineering team, ensuring software and integration projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day engineering activities and guide technical decisions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional work, set priorities, track progress and remove obstacles.
• Mentor engineers, review designs and code, and align engineering output with business goals.
• Maintain high quality standards for software and systems.
• Drive process improvements, risk management and effective communication with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven engineering management experience, including planning, resource allocation and performance oversight.
• Strong team‑leadership abilities such as coaching, delegation and collaborative decision‑making.
• Solid software development background with modern practices, tools and architectures.
• Demonstrated project‑management skills covering scheduling, risk management and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in system integration, APIs and complex service environments.
• Degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a multicultural hybrid setting.
