Engineering Systems Manager – Digital Operations

About the role

The Engineering Systems Manager will lead the Business Digital Systems Operations for Emirates Engineering, ensuring that all digital platforms supporting maintenance and engineering processes are reliable, secure, and aligned with the company’s ENGage 2030 vision. This role bridges engineering business units, IT, and third‑party providers to deliver smarter, faster, and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate maintenance and engineering digital systems, identifying enhancements and new requirements.
• Execute short‑ and long‑term digital strategy, aligning system operations with the engineering solutions roadmap.
• Assist business units in building business cases for digital developments and prioritize projects from an operational perspective.
• Manage implementation plans, resource allocation, training, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new digital solutions.
• Oversee cost‑effective delivery of system enhancements, ensuring on‑time development, proper training, and compliance with approved Statements of Work (SOW).
• Track system usage post‑implementation to confirm added business value.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing digital systems in an engineering or maintenance environment.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, automation, and data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
