English Teacher – Cycle 2 & 3 (American Curriculum)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) in Al Falah City is looking for a motivated English Teacher to deliver the American curriculum to Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 students. The role involves creating an engaging, supportive classroom environment that encourages academic growth and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with American curriculum standards.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom where students feel encouraged to participate.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and adapt instruction to diverse learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and collaborative classroom culture.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings and collaborative planning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student achievement.
• Integrate educational technology and innovative practices into lessons.
• Support extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• PGDE, PGCE or Teaching Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with the American curriculum.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
