English Teacher – Cycle 2 & 3 (American Curriculum)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) Al Falah City is seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Teacher to join the academic team, specializing in Cycles 2 and 3. The successful candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere and deliver high‑quality instruction aligned with the American curriculum, guiding primary and middle‑school students toward academic success and a love for learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with American curriculum standards, supporting students’ intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
• Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and explore.
• Assess and monitor student progress, provide regular feedback to students and parents, and implement individualized strategies for diverse learning needs.
• Foster a collaborative and respectful classroom culture that promotes inclusivity and positive behavior.
• Participate actively in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, updating them on student progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.
• Support extracurricular activities and contribute to school events as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting, preferably within the American curriculum.
• Commitment to student development and academic excellence.
• Proficiency in English; native‑level or near‑native level speaker preferred.
