About the role
The International Community School – Al Manhal Campus in Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate English Teacher for its High/Secondary students. You will deliver the British curriculum, fostering proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and literary analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the UK secondary curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage the classroom environment to promote participation and respect.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student development.
- Contribute to curriculum development and school-wide academic initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the British curriculum for secondary education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive and student‑centred learning.
Required skills
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
