Enterprise Risk Manager (UAE National)

About the role

The Roads and Transport Authority is seeking a UAE National to lead its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) agenda across all agencies, sectors, and departments. The role integrates ERM with strategic planning, scenario development, and opportunity‑oriented programmes to strengthen governance and risk culture.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the ERM governance framework, including policies, procedures, and accountability structures.
• Integrate ERM with strategic planning and develop RTA‑level strategic risk scenarios.
• Prepare and present periodic risk reports to the Director General and Board Chairman.
• Lead strategic‑risk reviews, synthesize findings and drive actionable mitigation plans.
• Provide strategic and technical risk advice to senior leadership and embed emerging‑risk guidance into decision‑making.
• Benchmark ERM maturity against international best practice and define improvement road‑maps.
• Promote a robust risk culture through clear objectives and communication.
• Oversee periodic operational‑risk assessments, ensure mitigation follow‑through, and support corporate audits.

Required profile

• UAE National with extensive experience (approximately 9 years) in enterprise risk management.
• Proven ability to lead governance frameworks and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
