Equipment Operator - Golf

About the role

We are seeking skilled Equipment Operators to support grounds and course maintenance at a premier golf destination in Dubai. The role involves operating a range of specialised machinery to ensure high‑quality turf presentation for daily play and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Operate specialised golf course maintenance equipment including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles and topdressers with precision.
• Perform daily pre‑operation inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues.
• Execute mowing, rolling, aeration and cultural practice tasks according to agronomy standards and playability requirements.
• Maintain accurate equipment usage logs, fuel records and service documentation.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, personal protective equipment requirements and environmental guidelines.
• Support the grounds team during peak seasons, tournaments and special events as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating golf course maintenance equipment in a professional or resort setting.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality turf presentation.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Operation of ride‑on and walk‑behind mowers.
• Operation of tractors and other turf‑care machinery.
• Use of utility vehicles and topdressers.
• Familiarity with GPS‑guided mowing systems and precision turf technology.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment adjustments and troubleshooting.
